What's new
v2026.8.4
Section titled “v2026.8.4”- Redesigned property navigation: a persistent header and a new icon rail show which property and section you’re viewing at all times, replacing the old tab strip
- Property Details is now its own page, including satellite and street view photos of the property’s address
- Redesigned the Buying Plan’s Funding Sources page
- Building allowance (Div 43) depreciation can now be estimated from a property’s build year and applied to the 10-year depreciation schedule with one click
v2026.8.3
Section titled “v2026.8.3”- Sale scenarios can now include a full CGT (capital gains tax) what-if panel, showing an estimate for a hypothetical sale
- LMI (Lenders Mortgage Insurance) now auto-estimates from your deposit and purchase price, editable before you commit to it
- New “Cash or Growth” verdict on a property’s summary showing where it sits between cashflow and capital growth, with the reasoning behind the score (Pro)
- New reference glossary covering key investment ratios: Cap Rate, GRM, Break-Even Ratio, Debt Yield, Operating Expense Ratio, and Cash-on-Cash return
- Contacts can now be linked directly to a property from the Contacts page; removed the Salary column from that view
- Fixed the Buying Plan showing all figures in $ regardless of a property’s actual currency
- Fixed the licence/certification widget appearing on properties you don’t own
- Fixed the Tax tab being hidden on owner-occupier properties, and the “main residence” toggle incorrectly showing on investment properties
- Fixed dark mode not being applied on the Cashflow Levers and Mortgage Scenarios tabs
- Fixed a stray scrollbar appearing in the property detail page’s sub-navigation
- Fixed the mobile Settings page overflowing the viewport and clipping content on the right
v2026.8.2
Section titled “v2026.8.2”- If you’re already logged in, our free calculators on the resources site (like Cash or Growth) now unlock automatically — no need to sign up again just to see your results
v2026.8.1
Section titled “v2026.8.1”- Fixed the property map detaching the table’s filters and toolbar from the table
- Bank statement CSV import now flags likely duplicate transactions in the preview, before you commit the import
- Fixed interest-saved figures that could miss part of a financial year; the Cashflow Levers tab now also shows total interest saved over the life of the loan, alongside this year’s figure
- Fixed a calendar edge case where the last day of the month wasn’t always recognised as part of the current month
- Fixed the sign-in, forgot-password, reset-password, and onboarding screens still showing the old logo
v2026.8.0
Section titled “v2026.8.0”- Investor Gate: Forecast now supports per-year growth and inflation overrides for capital growth, rental growth, and expense growth, instead of one flat rate across the whole projection — editable directly inline in the Data Table, with system defaults shown for any year left blank
- New sign-ups’ default growth and inflation assumptions are now seeded from region-specific settings rather than one fixed global set of numbers
- Fixed after-tax cashflow incorrectly applying Australia’s negative-gearing rules to UK and New Zealand properties
- Fixed Reports occasionally showing different numbers than Forecast for the same property and year, caused by a second, separately-maintained copy of the underlying calculations
- Imported bank transactions now show up in Actuals/Reports — previously only manually entered actuals appeared there
- Updated the app’s wordmark and logo across the sidebar, sign-in screen, and mobile view to match the current brand
- Docs site gained a proper favicon and footer
v2026.7.18
Section titled “v2026.7.18”- Balance Projection replaces its old financial-year-only navigation with a continuous rolling window — filter by This Year, This Quarter, Last Quarter, This FY, Last FY, Last 12 Months, or a custom date range, paging forward or backward with no year limit
- Balance Projection now shows individual dated transaction rows instead of collapsing each month into a single total you had to click to expand
- CSV import now warns if the imported statement’s closing balance disagrees with the account’s own set balance, letting you update it or keep it as-is
- Sankey diagram now shows a “Savings” node when your configured transfers exceed what a property actually needs, instead of drawing the full transfer amount as if it were all being spent
- Bank accounts can now be marked Closed — warns if the account still has active transfers, and disables adding new transfers/top-ups/payments while closed
- Replaced the Banks page’s “Combined Projection” table with an at-a-glance summary: this month’s income/expenses/shortfall, how many accounts are forecast to go cash-negative, and a warning when scheduled transfers won’t cover what’s coming due
- New docs page: Security & Data Protection, covering infrastructure, MFA/TOTP, encryption, and malware scanning on uploads
v2026.7.17
Section titled “v2026.7.17”- Bank transactions can now be edited (date, description, amount) directly from the Banks transaction list, not just re-categorised
- Bank transactions can now be deleted individually, not just as part of undoing a whole CSV import
- Fixed a mortgage account’s imported CSV transactions being read with the wrong sign convention — a bank’s own loan-statement (where a “LOAN PAYMENT” reduces what you owe) was being treated like an ordinary account statement, silently walking the debt in the wrong direction
- Fixed Balance Projection showing $0 for an account whose real transaction history goes back more than a year, instead of reflecting its true balance
- Fixed Balance Projection’s current financial year showing the wrong opening balance when today falls within the very first month of that year — most visible right after a loan payoff or other large transaction lands early in a new financial year
- Fixed the Overview page’s Balance Projection not refreshing immediately after importing a CSV of bank transactions
v2026.7.16
Section titled “v2026.7.16”- Fixed a mortgage account’s Balance Projection showing an incorrect frozen balance in months before the loan was actually drawn down, instead of $0
- Chrome desktop notifications now show the app icon instead of the generic globe icon
v2026.7.15
Section titled “v2026.7.15”- Properties can now have their own Tax Country (Australia, New Zealand, or United Kingdom), independent of your account’s country — this changes which expense fields apply and how they’re labelled, e.g. hiding Land Tax and LMI for NZ/UK properties and relabelling Strata/Body Corporate fees to “Ground Rent / Service Charge” for the UK
- Imported bank transactions now flow directly into a bank account’s Balance Projection, instead of sitting in an isolated list disconnected from the forecast — this feature (CSV import, categorisation, and Balance Projection wiring) is now part of the Pro/Investor plan
- New weekly digest email summarising upcoming rent, overdue/upcoming items, and portfolio value — opt out any time from Settings → Preferences
- New in-app toast notifications for important events
- Fixed Capital Improvement and Selling Cost being unreachable from the Add Event type selector, despite being fully supported everywhere else in the app
- Recording an expense via Actuals now automatically confirms the matching Calendar entry, instead of requiring a separate confirmation click there too
- Fixed Calendar showing duplicate Rent and Management Fee entries
- Dashboard hero widgets can now be hidden and re-shown individually via “Edit widgets”
- Licences & Certifications hero widget now shows a bigger shield icon and a clearer empty state, with a direct link to add your first licence
- New docs guide: tracking licences and certifications, covering renewal reminders and the event timeline
v2026.7.14
Section titled “v2026.7.14”- Track licences and certifications (gas safety checks, smoke alarm compliance, landlord registration, and more) as a new event type on a property’s timeline, with a reminder 30 days before renewal is due
- Fixed Reports Monthly Detail showing wildly different figures month to month for the exact same recurring rent or bill — estimates now show flat, predictable monthly or quarterly amounts instead of varying by how many days happen to be in that particular month
- Fixed a bug where a property’s Balance Projection could show the mortgage’s current balance frozen across an entire past financial year, including months before the property had even settled
- Fixed an agent-deducted expense not counting as real recorded data in Reports, even though it’s a genuine confirmed cost
- Notifications: the bell badge now only counts genuinely unread items, and a “Select all” option makes clearing out old notifications faster
- Improved text contrast across the app for better readability
v2026.7.13
Section titled “v2026.7.13”- Bank transaction CSV import gained an Interest Expense category, so mortgage interest no longer has to be lumped in under the generic “Mortgage” category
- Notifications: the sidebar/mobile bell now shows a real count instead of a plain dot, and you can opt in to OS-level browser notifications from Settings so a new notification reaches you even when the tab isn’t focused
- Recording a real transaction against a property now requires a linked bank account first, instead of silently letting you create an orphaned actual with nowhere to reconcile against
- Fixed a rent-scheduling bug where the Calendar’s expected monthly rent varied depending on how many days were in that particular month, instead of matching the flat monthly figure shown everywhere else in the app
- Homebuyer add-on: rewritten pricing copy, plus a new FAQ explaining what it is and who it’s for
- New “Docs & Support articles” link in Settings → Help and on the sign-in screen
- Accessibility: every icon-only button across the app (modal close buttons, edit/remove actions, document viewer navigation) now has a proper label for screen readers
v2026.7.12
Section titled “v2026.7.12”- New tenancy duration widget on a tenanted property’s Cashflow tab, showing how long the current tenant has been in place — grey under a year, green past one year, blue past two
- Rent Change events can now record the tenant’s name, so tenancy duration tracks correctly across a turnover instead of resetting on every rent adjustment
- Info icons on stat cards (LVR, DSCR, and others) now show a short description on hover with a “Learn more” link through to the docs, instead of navigating away immediately on click
- A bank account’s Balance Projection gained previous/next financial-year navigation, plus a “Current” shortcut when viewing a past or future year
- Opening an account from a property’s Banks tab now takes the back button straight back to that property, instead of the general Accounts list
- Notifications can now be deleted individually or in bulk via a new multi-select mode, instead of only being dismissable
- Fixed “Add Property” links landing on an old full-page form — it now creates the property and opens straight to its editable Summary tab, matching every other “Add Property” button in the app
v2026.7.11
Section titled “v2026.7.11”- Mortgage accounts now reconcile properly with a property’s real linked bank account — the Cashflow Summary, Monthly Detail, Reports, and Tax views all reflect the account’s actual balance and any lump-sum payments, instead of a formula projected from the original loan amount
- Lump-sum mortgage payments now appear as their own line in a mortgage account’s Balance Projection and correctly reduce its running balance, instead of only affecting later interest silently with no visible transaction
- Offset accounts show a clear warning explaining why “Interest Saved” isn’t appearing, if the offset isn’t correctly linked to a mortgage
- New “Repayment comes from” field on a mortgage account, so a repayment can be modeled as coming out of a different account than the mortgage itself — supports both a simple two-account setup and a shared “hub” transaction account across several properties
- Mortgage accounts gained a “Lump Sum” option right on the account’s own page (alongside Transfer, Top-up, and Payment), so a one-off payment can be added or removed without opening Edit Account
- New Monthly Top-Up card on a negatively-geared property’s Cashflow Summary, showing whether a real transfer already covers the shortfall, partially covers it, or isn’t set up at all
- The Cashflow Map now shows a real transfer covering a property’s shortfall as its own flow, instead of assuming the whole gap always comes from an unmodeled salary top-up
- Fixed the Cashflow Map double-counting management fees already netted out of rent, which was inflating both the traced account total and the shortfall figure
- Bank account pages now have a friendly, shareable URL (e.g.
/accounts/<id>/westpac-offset) instead of always collapsing back to a bare, unbookmarkable page - Dashboard’s hero stat row is now readable at more screen sizes — values no longer get cut off, and the row is shorter so the Cashflow Map is easier to reach without scrolling
- Calendar’s mortgage transaction edit form now clarifies that it only corrects one recorded payment, not your ongoing interest rate or loan balance
- When a property becomes Owned or Tenanted with more than one bank account linked, you’re now prompted to confirm which account actually receives the rent — so an Offset and a Transaction account don’t both show it as if it landed there
- New docs guide: setting up mortgages and bank accounts, covering a simple single-loan setup through to a hub-and-spoke portfolio
v2026.7.10
Section titled “v2026.7.10”- Fixed a linked mortgage account’s balance incorrectly shrinking every month for interest-only loans — it now correctly stays flat unless you record an extra/lump-sum payment
- Bank Accounts now shows a mortgage account’s live projected balance (reflecting lump-sum payments) instead of only the last recorded snapshot
- Fixed a property’s mortgage repayment figures being inflated after recording a valuation or current-value update — a valuation now only affects the displayed property value, never the loan repayment amount
- Fixed inline numeric fields (Cashflow Summary) occasionally reverting to their old value for a moment after a quick edit
- Reports Annual Summary and the Cashflow Summary’s Net Position now always show the same “Net Rental Income / (Loss)” figure for the same property and financial year
- Operating expense fields are now locked once a property is marked Owned, preventing accidental edits to figures that should be driven by real actuals
- Improved accessibility: sidebar navigation links and account-footer icons now have proper labels for screen readers, and colour-only status indicators (DSCR, LVR, Net Cashflow) now show a redundant icon
- New docs site “Terms” section explaining LVR, DSCR, Debt Recycling, Stamp Duty deductibility, Joint Tenants vs Tenants in Common, and Cash Yield vs Capital Growth
v2026.7.9
Section titled “v2026.7.9”- Dashboard’s cashflow chart replaced with an interactive Cashflow Map — a flow diagram showing how rent (and any salary top-up) moves from each property’s account into mortgage, rates, insurance, and other expenses. Click a property to trace just its flow, or toggle between a combined portfolio view and per-property. Available on mobile too.
- Dashboard property cards now show a notification icon when that property has a pending action — an unpaid payment or an expiring tenancy — linking straight to your notifications
- Calendar’s “Confirm Rent Received” now correctly defaults the “paid into account” field to your property’s actual deposit account
- Properties view gained an Export CSV button and a bulk “Delete selection” action; Import CSV moved below the table
v2026.7.8
Section titled “v2026.7.8”- New DSCR (Debt-Service Coverage Ratio) hero widget on the Dashboard and each property’s Cashflow tab, with a link to a new guide explaining what it means
- New Cash Balance hero widget on the Dashboard, summing your transaction and savings accounts
- Reports now default to an explicit property/portfolio choice instead of silently showing “All properties”; Monthly Detail across your whole portfolio now renders a real month-by-month view instead of asking you to pick one property first
- Portfolio Summary report gained a portfolio filter and a “Split by owner” view
- After-tax cashflow is now blended from each property’s actual Owners (weighted by ownership %) instead of a single account-wide income figure
- Fixed rent, vacancy, and management-fee figures drifting out of sync between the Cashflow Summary tab and Reports — both now agree, and reflect real actuals once a property is tenanted
- Fixed CSV property import applying your own account’s currency instead of the imported property’s actual country — you’re now asked to choose a country before importing
- Fixed property currency showing inconsistently on the Properties/Compare view
- Settings gained a “Buying goal” field, so you can update your onboarding intent (home buyer / first investment / growing a portfolio) later instead of being locked into what you picked at signup
v2026.7.7
Section titled “v2026.7.7”- Global search — press Cmd/Ctrl+K anywhere in the app to jump straight to a property, account, contact, or transaction
- Properties page: click a column header to sort, drag headers to reorder them, and edit Notes/Asking/Offer/Bedrooms/Bathrooms directly in the table — on both desktop and mobile
- Properties: Purchase Price and Current Value are now separate columns, and the map appears above the table instead of replacing it
- Mobile Properties view reimagined, with the filter row collapsing into a bottom sheet instead of scrolling sideways
- Fixed owner-occupied Principal & Interest loans showing equity frozen at the original deposit instead of growing as the loan is paid down
- Cashflow gained an “Income Left This Month” hero card
- Funds transfers can now be attributed to a specific owner
- New Portfolio Summary and Portfolio Grid reports
- Reports: canceling out of Print/PDF no longer resets your chosen report type, financial year, or property selection
- Your preferences (theme, currency, growth defaults) now sync to your account and follow you across devices, instead of living only in this browser
- Fixed a bug where switching users on a shared browser could leak the previous user’s sidebar state and theme
- Mobile: Settings moved from the header username into the “More” menu
- Sidebar decluttered: admin tools now live in their own labeled section instead of a crowded icon row
- Homebuyer add-on: added a Settings entry point and checkout-linked emails, and it now also unlocks sort, selection, and side-by-side compare on Properties — previously it only removed the property limit
- Fixed bank statement CSV import, which was failing on every attempt, and the transaction auto-categorisation rules that go with it
v2026.7.6
Section titled “v2026.7.6”- Calendar now shows rent and the agent’s management fee as one combined transaction, matching how your bank statement actually reads it, instead of two separate entries on different days
- Confirming a rent event opens a proper modal: adjust the rent received and management fee, add one-off deductions (letting fees, tradespeople), choose which account it was paid into, and see a live total — if a payment falls short, the shortfall automatically carries forward to the next rent event
- Rent Change entries can now record your property manager and override the management fee or other monthly fees from that date forward
- Portfolio Cashflow replaced the static “Vacancy Loss” estimate with “Outgoings Left This Month” — a live total of this month’s scheduled bills and mortgage payments that haven’t been confirmed yet
- Sidebar can now collapse to an icon-only rail to free up screen space; your preference is remembered
- Mobile navigation reorganised: Properties added to the main bar, Contacts and Reports moved into a new “More” menu, notifications moved to the top bar
- Mobile property pages: tabs that don’t fit the screen live behind a single “⋮” menu instead of requiring horizontal scrolling
- Fixed a bug where a property’s mortgage repayment could be double-counted or dropped entirely from cashflow projections when more than one bank account was linked to it
- Help Center launched — onboarding guides, a subscription FAQ, and this changelog
v2026.7.4
Section titled “v2026.7.4”- Bank accounts can now have their own currency, with balances shown converted to your portfolio currency
- Live daily exchange rates auto-convert property values across your portfolio (Pro and Investor)
- CSV import gained
externalUrl,askingPrice, andcommentcolumns, plus anisOwnerOccupierYes/No column - Depreciation schedule moved to the Tax tab, made fully editable, and extended from 5 to 10 years
- Annual Reports now show an ownership-percentage split for multi-owner properties
- Carry-forward tax losses now use recorded actuals only, starting from settlement date rather than contract date
- Mobile layout fixes: single-column pages with no side-scrolling, user icon in the header
- Reports Monthly Detail fixed for portfolios with exactly one property; print/PDF export fixed
v2026.7.3

- Rental tax history and carry-forward loss tracking added to the Tax tab
- Reports gained CSV export and print support
- Tax Country selection now auto-syncs property currency across the dashboard, edit fields, and calendar
- Error monitoring (Sentry) added across staging and production
- Admins can now grant or revoke additional admin accounts
